Tripp Lite’s docking station series transmits video and audio signals from USB DisplayPort Alternate Mode sources, supports 4K Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 for crisp 4K x 2K video, and connects to a 10Mbps / 100Mbps wired Gigabit Ethernet network / 1000Mbps when Wi-Fi is not available. It also allows fast charging of compatible devices thanks to its 20V 3A (60W) power output.
Its USB C, USB A and memory card ports allow the connection of USB memory sticks and other peripherals, and it turns the USB C or Thunderbolt 3 port of mobile devices into a workstation in any place. Tripp Lite’s U442 docks support USB C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for transmitting audio and video signals; thus, users can send 4K video and digital audio to a compatible monitor, television or projector, without installing special software drivers. Furthermore, HDCP 2.2 support makes streaming 4K Amazon and Netflix content seamless.
