Minecraft’s first spin-off game called Minecraft Dungeons is released this year. Minecraft Dungeons is set in the Minecraft universe and, according to Mojang, is based on classic dungeon drawlers such as Diablo 3 and Path of Exile.

In Minecraft Dungeons you brave randomly generated dungeons. Discover the dungeons, collect weapons, armor, magical abilities and customize your entire doll.

The dungeons are designed in the different Minecraft biomes, so you occasionally fight in a damp swamp, in a real Canyon but usually in dark mine shafts. Well-known Minecraft enemies such as Zombies, Skeletons, and Illagers are certainly included in the game.

You don’t have to play Minecraft Dungeons alone, you can play local or online multiplayer with up to four people at the same time. With four people you would think it is a lot easier, but I would find the distribution of loot a bit more difficult.

You can also make a tactical setup with your team, one can shoot from a distance with crossbow or bow and arrow, while the other jumps into the crowd with his sword!

Unfortunately, the game is somewhat delayed by the coronavirus, Mojang reported in a message on their site yesterday. In the message, they say that the safety of their employees is paramount and they still want to bring the best playing experience.

The game will be available to buy on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One (or Xbox Game Pass) and PS4 from May 26, crossplay is also available between gamers on PC and Xbox.
