In 2020, Harley-Davidson announced that it will launch its own e-bikes together with its subsidiary Serial 1 Cycle Company. These have been available in other countries for a similar time. Still, starting this summer, in partnership with Harley-Davidson Europe, the company will make the Serial 1 range available at Harley-Davidson dealers across Europe.

Jason Huntsman, President of Serial 1, said: “We are very pleased to join forces with Serial 1 to bring this top-of-the-line product to Europe. We believe that the combination of a good product, a fast-growing market and a passionate dealer network is the recipe for success.”

The e-bike is intended for motorcycle enthusiasts, commuters and beginners. It is an electric bicycle with pedal assistance, which means that a battery provides some extra power while cycling. The Serial 1 has a mid-mounted motor, internal brake cables to give it a sleek look, and built-in lights for bike rides in the dark.

“The dynamic, fast-growing e-bike market in Europe is at the forefront of the global mobility revolution,” added Aaron Frank, Brand Director for Serial 1. “By offering the Serial 1, e-bikes to dealers across Europe, Harley-Davidson can play an exciting role in this development, while Serial 1 can deliver an unparalleled riding experience based on fun, freedom and adventure on the bike. ”

Price
There are those different models of the Serial 1, with a cheaper variant of 3499 euros and two more expensive variants of 4599 euros and 4699 euros.
