Apple Glasses: Apple begins production tests

According to the site The Information, Apple has just started the first production tests for its augmented reality glasses.

A crucial new milestone in the development of Apple Glasses has just been reached, according to The Information, which reports the start of production testing at its Foxconn plants in Chengdu, China.

The American giant has indeed decided to start the first tests in Asia. Production tests aim to determine the percentage of “failures” while allowing manufacturers to test several prototypes.

According to The Information, Apple Glasses are slightly larger than conventional glasses. They would use thicker glass than usual and a battery.

The accessory is presumed to arrive on the market in 2021, or even 2022. The design of Apple Glasses in Cupertino would have started almost 5 years ago.
